This 1949 International pickup was purchased in 2008 and had been in a private collection. It has been in heated storage for several years. Body and paint are in very good condition, as well as the chrome trim and glass. Interior is like new.

The engine is the “green diamond” 214 cubic inch 6 cylinder flathead which was rated at 85 hp @ 3400 RPM. The wheelbase measures 126” with an I-Beam front axle and longitudinal leaf springs front and rear. The brakes are locked (pre-49 Ford) type. The transmission is a 3-speed with column shift. The pickup box measures 7’5” long and 48” wide. It has a diamond plate floor and nice wood rails on top, which are removable. 

 

Extra include dual mirrors, running boards with step plates, stone guards, block wall tires with small hub caps and trim rings. The windshield is the crank-out type for extra ventilation.
